I work with engineering, product, and sales teams to build systems and improve processes to help deliver value faster to customers. This drives growth and expansion quickly.
I’ve spent over 20 years building software, leading teams, and helping engineers do the best work of their lives. My journey started early. At 14, I was already shipping commercial software. At 16, I cobbled together a Squidcache proxy server that gave my teachers internet dashboards they didn’t know they needed. By 2006, I’d built an e-commerce platform that launched my first company and I served that very first customer for 15 years, until I sold the business in 2021.
I’m a builder at heart, but what excites me most today isn’t just writing code - it’s building teams. I help turn ideas into products by creating the conditions where engineers can thrive, products can move faster, and innovation can scale.
Since then, I’ve spent my career scaling software teams and bringing products to life. I’ve led engineers, managers, and distributed teams across time zones and continents - including the UK, Portugal, USA, New Zealand, Kenya, and the Philippines. Along the way, I’ve learned how to balance speed with quality, how to keep remote-first cultures thriving, and how to unlock engineers’ strengths so they can do the best work of their careers.
My values are straightforward: autonomy, growth, and service. I believe in giving people the freedom to excel, the opportunities to keep learning, and the support to do work that truly matters. Strategy comes naturally to me, but so does building an environment where teams feel connected, motivated, and excited to deliver. I'm equally a geek as I am commercially focused - just get me started on sales strategy!
If you need someone who can bridge vision with execution and help a team deliver ideas to market faster - let’s talk.
